This better make somebody angry. I don’t even have a lot to say for this except that it speaks for itself.
Congress last night passed a giant new spending bill that undermines current plans for a U.S.-Mexico border fence, allowing the Homeland Security Department to build a single-tier barrier rather than the two-tier version that has worked in California. …
“The fact that this was buried in a bloated, 3,500-page omnibus speaks volumes about the Democrats’ unserious approach on border security and illegal immigration,” said House Minority Leader John A. Boehner, Ohio Republican. “Gutting the Secure Fence Act will make our borders less secure, but it’s consistent with the pattern of behavior we’ve seen all year from this majority.”
The 2006 Secure Fence Act specifically called for “two layers of reinforced fencing” and listed five specific sections of border where it should be installed. The new spending bill removes the two-tier requirement and the list of locations.
House Republican Whip Roy Blunt of Missouri said the bill is full of “misguided” policy decisions: “On one page, for instance, you will find a set of new restrictions on the construction of our security fence along the border; on another, $10 million in ‘emergency’ funding for attorneys of illegal immigrants.
What the hell? This is apparently the “New Direction” for the left. Ignore Homeland Security by keeping the borders open, then allow criminals who have no rights in the US to get a defense for their crimes and completely ignore the fact that some statistics say that 80% of the US feels that closing the border is the most important issue of our time.

Old Harry “Poopy Pants” Reid is just mad as all tarnation at John McCain for basically correctly quoting him in a radio ad running in South Carolina. He apparently can’t grasp the fact that what he said was disgusting and shows his lack of ability to grasp the basics of being the people’s represative when he said, and I quote, “The War IS Lost” Video of him saying it is below.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is not at all pleased with a new radio ad being run by Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in South Carolina.
According to CNN, McCain’s new ad blasts Reid for saying the “war is lost” earlier in the year. McCain has been one of President Bush’s biggest backers on his Iraq war policy.
“‘Seven months ago, Democrat majority leader Harry Reid said the war in Iraq was lost,” the ad begins. “Well, he was wrong,'” CNN reported.
CNN also noted that “Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, McCain’s most prominent booster in the state, speaks for the majority of the spot, saying ‘the troop surge is working’ and that ‘we need a president prepared to win.'”
Reid is very unhappy with McCain new radio ad, and a Reid aide fired right back at the Arizona Republican tonight.
“While I understand that Senator McCain is fighting to revive his failed presidential campaign, his remarks are at odds with the vast majority of the American people, who are demanding a responsible end to this war,” said Jim Manley, Reid’s spokesman. “These kinds of attacks — and his consistent support of a failed strategy that has kept our troops mired in an endless civil war in another country — will only undermine Senator McCain’s credibility with voters.”
Manley added: “Democrats have given the troops a pay raise, increased funding for veterans and most importantly have fought to give our soldiers what they deserve — a strategy for success. We will continue to oppose Bush Republicans like Senator McCain who are committed to a failed war strategy and to standing in the way of critical needs at home.”

House Speaker (D) San Fran Gran Nancy Pelosi disgraced herself, the Democratic Party which she represents and the job she was elected to do. In a statement made to the press today she said…
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is drawing heat for suggesting her political opponents are fond of the war in Iraq.
“The grassroots are justifiably disappointed and I am too that we could not do something to end this war,” Pelosi said at a press conference today. “The assumption that I made that the Republicans would soon see the light and listen to their constituents was not an accurate one.”
She continued: “They like this war. They want this war to continue. We thought that they shared the view of so many people in our country that we need a new direction in Iraq. To affect that we need redeployment of our troops with a goal of a year to do that. But the Republicans have made it very clear that this is just not George Bush’s war, this is the war of the Republicans in Congress.”
Asked to clarify her use of the word “like,” Pelosi backed off her statement of moments before.
“When I say ‘like,’ I shouldn’t say they ‘like’ the war. They support the war, the course of action that the president is on and they are not questioning in terms of his implementation of the war, the execution of the war.”
For this worthless piece of San Fran crap to stand in front of the American people and pretend to profess that she knows what the American People want is disgusting and quite frankly belittling. She’s completely worthless and if nothing hindering to the American People. Go home and roost you chicken shit Nancy Pelosi. Go back to where it’s actually a good thing to suck, San Fran.

Sorry my minions I’ve had to take a few days away from here to get some things in my real life straightened out, so here is my first shot across the bow…
I am from Minnesota, I know Minnesota, I have friends in Minnesota. For God sakes will someone tell this a-hole that he is not going to win in Minnesota? If any of my friends are reading this and they have been thinking to themselves, “Hey, that Franken guy seems alright…”, I will kill you.
