Local Radio Personality Bruce Jacobs Railroaded By City Of Phoenix
This story has many many facets, so if you have any questions I will try and answer them as asked. Basically here in Az. we have a huge immigration problem. We have possibly hundreds of thousands of illegals walking the streets, working in our offices, cleaning our babies asses, you name it they have made their way in and at this point the left is going to make sure that they stay. But along with these “Undocumented workers” come the lowest criminals you could think of. Undocumented Rapists, Undocumented Murderers, Undocumented Hit & Runners, Undocumented Cop Killers. The latter being what this is all about.
Phoenix Police Officer Nick Erfle was shot after he and his partner approached three people for jaywalking and obstructing traffic on 24th Street, one block north of Thomas Road.
The suspect carjacked a vehicle and took the driver hostage. About an hour later, an unmarked special assignments unit spotted a car and suspect matching the carjacked vehicle’s description.
They began surveillance and managed to box in the vehicle at 27th Avenue and McDowell Road. The suspect pointed his gun at the hostage and he was shot and killed by an officer. The suspect was later identified as an illegal alien with a felony record. He had been deported in 2006 and illegally re-entered the country.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The two females who were with the suspect when he was initially stopped were taken into custody for questioning.
Officer Erfle had served with the Phoenix Police Department for 8 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Mrs. Julie Erfle, the widow of slain Phoenix Police Officer Nick Erfle was recruited last week by Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris to be a spokesperson for Immigration Reform.
At a news conference on Thursday, she expressed frustration with the immigration debate in Phoenix since her husband was killed eight months ago.
Erfle called on Gov. Janet Napolitano to set up a nonpartisan task force of experts that would push for comprehensive immigration reform within Arizona. The task force’s goal, she said, would be to emphasize public safety while preserving the dignity of all people.
“We need comprehensive immigration reform that puts safety and humanity on an equal footing,” Erfle said. “We cannot have one without the other.”
In doing so, she said, she would honor the memory of a man who gave his life in service to the community.
“I believe his death can also be an inspiration – an inspiration for positive change,” Erfle said. “I hope that today will be a first step in immigration, and not a last step.”
Really? REALLY? Well besides being an unusual area to become interested in it is also more interesting in regards to what’s going on right now in Phoenix with not only Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris but with his boss Mayor Phil Gordon. Mayor Phil Gordon is in a fight for his life as the citizens of Phoenix are signing a petition to have him recalled.
A public-interest group in Phoenix is collecting signatures in hopes of forcing a recall election for Mayor Phil Gordon, who they believe has failed to deal with the problem of illegal immigration in the community.
The group — American Citizens United — has until August 28 to collect nearly 24,000 signatures from the city’s 521,000 registered voters. Spokesman Phillip Quihuis believes Phoenix has turned into a sanctuary city because Gordon is a sanctuary mayor. And he contends the sanctuary policy has been devastating to the nation’s fifth-largest city, essentially making the Arizona capital the “kidnapping capital of the nation.”
“We’re also right on the top when it comes to identity theft…[and] auto thefts because so many ‘coyotes’ and drug runners are stealing cars up in the Phoenix area [and] taking them down to Mexico…to transport drugs and illegal aliens back up here,” he details.
Phoenix citizens want a mayor who is going to stop turning a blind eye to the situation, Quihuis asserts, and actually do something to clean up the city.
So… I know this is a lot to take in and this post is long but this story is incredibly complicated. Anywhoooo, Bruce Jacobs a local radio personality at 550 KFYI and outspoken critic of both Immigration Reform and Jack Harris and Mayor Phil Gordon. So Bruce Jacobs went on the radio Thursday morning and blasted Julie Erfle for doing something so stupid as placating the same group that wants to open the borders to Undocumented Rapists, Undocumented Murderer’s, Undocumented Hit & Runners, Undocumented Cop Killers. I actually was listening to this “rant” when he did it and found it a bit hard to listen to, but to be honest I have to agree with him. Officer Erfle paid the ultimate price when he was gunned down in the line of duty on September 18, 2007. Today, August 25, 2008, at 4:00 P.M., City of Phoenix Public Safety Manager Jack Harris will be holding a press conference in response to the unwarranted attack on Mrs. Erfle. The news conference will be held in the Police Chief’s conference room of the Main Police Station at 620 W. Washington. There will not be a question and answer session following the conference.

So basically the left is trying to stop free speech by putting a helpless, hopeless, poor grieving widow out front of a topic that quite frankly has been already decided on, WE ARE NOT IN FAVOR OF AMNESTY! IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK OR STOP ILLEGAL ALIENS FORM ENTERING THE UNITED STATES AND BREAKING OUR LAWS! BUILD OUR FENCE!
Quit putting these people out in front of the issues that you think are going to get you reelected, or in this case RECALLED in the hopes that no one will speak out against them for fears of being looked at as mean or nasty. In this case thank God we have someone like Bruce Jacobs who isn’t afraid of getting out there and saying it like it is. You wanna hear what he has to say about this?

• Global Warming? Try Global Cooling
I have never bought into the whole global warming threat. I live in Phoenix, I know first-hand there is no possible way that it could get any warmer here without having blue-haired old ladies burst into flames like burning Q-Tips. Besides that I have always had a weird feeling in my heart and it’s never let me buy into the idea that Al Gore was right and we were all going to boil. For God sakes the weatherman on the morning show I watch while getting ready for work can’t tell me what the weather is going to be later today with any sort of accuracy. For those of you in-the-know I just moved BACK to Phoenix from Southwest Florida. For the last 2 years the hurricanes were supposed to wipe us off the face of the Earth and it never happened. Plus I can tell you it’s so freakin’ cold here in the desert right now I had to go buy a jacket for the first time in 12 years. Here’s some more proof that Al Gore is talking out of his ass…

Carbon dioxide continues to build in the atmosphere, but the mean planetary temperature hasn’t increased significantly for nearly nine years. Antarctica is getting colder. Neither the intensity nor the frequency of hurricanes has increased. The 2007 season was the third-quietest since 1966. In 2006 not a single hurricane made landfall in the U.S. South America this year experienced one of its coldest winters in decades.
• 19 Democrats vote NO to Christmas! (Updated)
Christmas. Or should I say the “War On Christmas!” The “War On Terror” is just a bumper sticker but the “War On Christmas” is now a legislative reality.
Yesterday on Capital Hill there was a vote, actually several votes regarding observances of several religious holidays.
Excerpts from three recent House resolutions regarding religious observances:
RAMADAN
HR 635: “Acknowledges the onset of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, and conveys its respect to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world on this occasion.”
Approved 376-0DIWALI
HR 747: “Acknowledges the onset of Diwali and expresses its deepest respect to Indian Americans and the Indian Diaspora throughout the world on this significant occasion.”
Approved 358-0CHRISTMAS
HR 847: “Acknowledges the international religious and historical importance of Christmas and the Christian faith.”
Approved 372-9
Whoa, wait a minute… What was the vote on that last one? This couldn’t be right… 372-9?
Surprise surprise, several Democrats drew the line at recognizing Christmas.
Nine Democrats voted No – Ackerman, Clarke, DeGette, Hastings (FL), Lee, McDermott, Scott (VA), Stark and Woolsey.
10 Democrats and 1 Republican voted “Present.” – Conyers, Frank (MA), Holt, Payne, Schakowsky, Schwartz, Wasserman Schultz, Welch (VT) and Yarmuth (Which to ME is the same as voting no).
This is interesting because of this group 17 of the 18 D’s above voted FOR the resolution honoring Ramadan!
What the hell? This vote wasn’t to get extra days off, or to funnel government funds into buying Christmas trees or more ornaments for the White House Christmas tree, it was simply to recognize that Christmas is important to CHRISTIANS! I find it hard to believe that the Democrats listed above could possibly represent the people that they were elected to represent. The people in their districts should be outside of their offices pelting the buildings with ornaments and fruitcakes. The left is constantly misrepresenting the people of this country and the idea that anyone could vote against what is obviously the holiday observed by the majority of Americans is INCONCEIVABLE!

McDermott said the resolution was a Republican tactic designed to draw attention from pressing issues in Congress, including legislation to boost funding of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, or SCHIP. President Bush vetoed a bill Thursday that would have expanded the program.
McDermott supported House resolutions this fall to recognize the Islamic holy month of Ramadan and the festival of Diwali, celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. He drew the line at Christmas, he said, because the resolution only stated “obvious facts” that Christianity was the predominant faith in the U.S. and that many Christians and non-Christians celebrated Christmas.
“It’s Christmas time. There’re lots of Christians in the U.S. Hurray for Christmas. It’s ridiculous,” McDermott said, giving his take on the resolution.
Rather than “wasting time on this stuff,” he said, people should be protesting Bush’s vetoes of expanding health insurance for children.
“We’re talking about Christmas, and we do not care about kids in the state of Washington,” McDermott said.

It came to light a few weeks ago that the CIA/Men In Black had used water-boarding to extract information from 3 al-Qaeda suspects. Those suspects being Khalid “Shake Shake Shake” Mohamed, Abu Zubaydah and a third as-of-now unnamed suspect. Zubaydah, the first high-ranking al-Qaeda member captured after the September 11 terrorist attacks, broke 35 seconds after he was subjected to the technique, said John Kiriakou, who served as a CIA interrogator in Pakistan. After that Abu Zubaydah began providing interrogators with information that led to the disruption of “maybe dozens” of planned attacks, Mr Kiriakou said.
Mr Kiriakou said he was given a detailed description of the waterboarding by fellow team members. The next day Abu Zubaydah told his captors he would tell them whatever they wanted, Mr Kiriakou said. “He said that Allah had come to him in his cell and told him to co-operate, because it would make things easier for his brothers.”
Yeah right. the only thing that came to him in the middle of the night was his yellow streak and it’s one thing all of them have in common. They’re all cowards. But the real question is who are the people who are publicly chastising the GOP for using these techniques and why now? This is all stemming from the public being told that tapes of these interrogations had been destroyed. This is about 50 blog posts worth of info so I am just going to say this, the CIA had permission from it’s lawyers to destroy those tapes and to be honest with you, good for them. In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.
Among the techniques described, said two officials present, was waterboarding, a practice that years later would be condemned as torture by Democrats and some Republicans on Capitol Hill. But on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.
“The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough,” said a U.S. official who witnessed the exchange.
Individual lawmakers’ recollections of the early briefings varied dramatically, but officials present during the meetings described the reaction as mostly quiet acquiescence, if not outright support. “Among those being briefed, there was a pretty full understanding of what the CIA was doing,” said Goss, who chaired the House intelligence committee from 1997 to 2004 and then served as CIA director from 2004 to 2006. “And the reaction in the room was not just approval, but encouragement.”

Activist Quanell X and dozens of other protesters Sunday faced hundreds of homeowners and supporters of Joe Horn, the Pasadena man who shot and killed two men he suspected of burglarizing a neighbor’s home more than two weeks ago.
Families of the slain men, Miguel Antonio DeJesus, 38, and Diego Ortiz, 30, also were present.
Yard signs lined the 7400 block of Timberline in Pasadena, where the incident took place, as well as on nearby streets.
Residents and Horn supporters waved American flags and carried signs reading, “We love our neighbor for protecting our neighbors” and “Burglary is a risky business.”

I don’t think for a second that the guy in this video is actually capable of surviving a single day in the US. Not even with the closest friends could I ever see something like this being allowed by the people around me. I certainly wouldn’t let one of my friends or coworkers get away with this without popping them in the mouth. That being said I do know somewhere out there this guy is one of your coworkers, and for that I recommend a stapler stuffed into a sock.
But as far as this being racist against whitey I have to agree. If this was a black guy making the jokes about whitey or a Mexican against an Asain I think it would get jumped on and the producers would be shoved in front of Sharpton and made to grovel and apologize. But because it’s a white, middle aged male it is sort of overlooked. All I know is that I think it could have been done better. Possibly in a way that didn’t show any race making fun of another. But other races have made making fun of white people tolerable. Unfortunately subtle racism is worse than outright. Below this is a video showing racism against whitey going mainstream.

(AP/CBS4) DENVER A diversity training video has drawn a complaint from a Denver city employee who claims its unfavorable portrayal of whites amounts to “institutional racism.”
The video titled, “Laughing Matters — Think About It,” features a white, blue-collar worker named Billy who’s portrayed as racist, sexist, and clueless while illustrating inappropriate humor.
“Diversity, to me, doesn’t mean hammer the white guy,” said Dennis Supple, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanic who said he’s considering filing a lawsuit. “Diversity means you have respect for everyone, regardless of their race, their gender, their religion, their sexual orientation.”
Immigration Debate Spurs ACLU Arrest In Phoenix
A few weeks ago, Sheriff Joe Arpaio arrested 6 day laborers near Pruitt’s Furniture. The Sheriff stepped in after the Phoenix police were not responding to the complaints that Pruitt’s Furniture had made about the gathering of day laborers near their store. This upset the “Latino community.” They protested and called for a useless boycott against Pruitt’s furniture. Read more of the story here.
ACLU wacko Daniel Pachoda
PHOENIX — The legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona was arrested Saturday during a demonstration at a Phoenix store that has been a site of controversy over illegal immigrant day laborers.
Capt. Paul Chagolla said Daniel Pochoda was arrested as activists demonstrated in front of Pruitt’s Furniture and that Pochoda is accused of misdemeanor trespassing.
Deputies said they warned Pochoda six times to leave, but he refused.
The owners of Pruitt’s have complained that their business is being harmed by day laborers’ presence. Sheriff’s deputies have responded with arrests, drawing protests from immigration rights activists.
“I’m not their favorite guy,” Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. “They’ve sued me. I think this guy (Pochoda) is involved in a lawsuit against me. You think that’s going to bother me?”
Bystanders came by to shake the sheriff’s hand. One woman told Arpaio, “You kick butt.”
“It’s a disgrace that private businesses can be intimidated by activists that don’t like the immigration laws that this sheriff is enforcing,” Arpaio said.
“We as people who are trying to fight for a cause, we need to understand also the feelings and the exasperation of all of those businesses who feel affected by this situation,” said Elias Bermudez of Immigrants Without Borders.
Activists also protested last Saturday in front of Pruitt’s. They said they were supporting illegal immigrants and day laborers.
