Local Radio Personality Bruce Jacobs Railroaded By City Of Phoenix
This story has many many facets, so if you have any questions I will try and answer them as asked. Basically here in Az. we have a huge immigration problem. We have possibly hundreds of thousands of illegals walking the streets, working in our offices, cleaning our babies asses, you name it they have made their way in and at this point the left is going to make sure that they stay. But along with these “Undocumented workers” come the lowest criminals you could think of. Undocumented Rapists, Undocumented Murderers, Undocumented Hit & Runners, Undocumented Cop Killers. The latter being what this is all about.
Phoenix Police Officer Nick Erfle was shot after he and his partner approached three people for jaywalking and obstructing traffic on 24th Street, one block north of Thomas Road.
The suspect carjacked a vehicle and took the driver hostage. About an hour later, an unmarked special assignments unit spotted a car and suspect matching the carjacked vehicle’s description.
They began surveillance and managed to box in the vehicle at 27th Avenue and McDowell Road. The suspect pointed his gun at the hostage and he was shot and killed by an officer. The suspect was later identified as an illegal alien with a felony record. He had been deported in 2006 and illegally re-entered the country.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured. The two females who were with the suspect when he was initially stopped were taken into custody for questioning.
Officer Erfle had served with the Phoenix Police Department for 8 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
Mrs. Julie Erfle, the widow of slain Phoenix Police Officer Nick Erfle was recruited last week by Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris to be a spokesperson for Immigration Reform.
At a news conference on Thursday, she expressed frustration with the immigration debate in Phoenix since her husband was killed eight months ago.
Erfle called on Gov. Janet Napolitano to set up a nonpartisan task force of experts that would push for comprehensive immigration reform within Arizona. The task force’s goal, she said, would be to emphasize public safety while preserving the dignity of all people.
“We need comprehensive immigration reform that puts safety and humanity on an equal footing,” Erfle said. “We cannot have one without the other.”
In doing so, she said, she would honor the memory of a man who gave his life in service to the community.
“I believe his death can also be an inspiration – an inspiration for positive change,” Erfle said. “I hope that today will be a first step in immigration, and not a last step.”
Really? REALLY? Well besides being an unusual area to become interested in it is also more interesting in regards to what’s going on right now in Phoenix with not only Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris but with his boss Mayor Phil Gordon. Mayor Phil Gordon is in a fight for his life as the citizens of Phoenix are signing a petition to have him recalled.
A public-interest group in Phoenix is collecting signatures in hopes of forcing a recall election for Mayor Phil Gordon, who they believe has failed to deal with the problem of illegal immigration in the community.
The group — American Citizens United — has until August 28 to collect nearly 24,000 signatures from the city’s 521,000 registered voters. Spokesman Phillip Quihuis believes Phoenix has turned into a sanctuary city because Gordon is a sanctuary mayor. And he contends the sanctuary policy has been devastating to the nation’s fifth-largest city, essentially making the Arizona capital the “kidnapping capital of the nation.”
“We’re also right on the top when it comes to identity theft…[and] auto thefts because so many ‘coyotes’ and drug runners are stealing cars up in the Phoenix area [and] taking them down to Mexico…to transport drugs and illegal aliens back up here,” he details.
Phoenix citizens want a mayor who is going to stop turning a blind eye to the situation, Quihuis asserts, and actually do something to clean up the city.
So… I know this is a lot to take in and this post is long but this story is incredibly complicated. Anywhoooo, Bruce Jacobs a local radio personality at 550 KFYI and outspoken critic of both Immigration Reform and Jack Harris and Mayor Phil Gordon. So Bruce Jacobs went on the radio Thursday morning and blasted Julie Erfle for doing something so stupid as placating the same group that wants to open the borders to Undocumented Rapists, Undocumented Murderer’s, Undocumented Hit & Runners, Undocumented Cop Killers. I actually was listening to this “rant” when he did it and found it a bit hard to listen to, but to be honest I have to agree with him. Today, August 25, 2008, at 4:00 P.M., City of Phoenix Public Safety Manager Jack Harris will be holding a press conference in response to the unwarranted attack on Mrs. Erfle. The news conference will be held in the Police Chief’s conference room of the Main Police Station at 620 W. Washington. There will not be a question and answer session following the conference.

So basically the left is trying to stop free speech by putting a helpless, hopeless, poor grieving widow out front of a topic that quite frankly has been already decided on, WE ARE NOT IN FAVOR OF AMNESTY! IT IS NOT GOING TO WORK OR STOP ILLEGAL ALIENS FORM ENTERING THE UNITED STATES AND BREAKING OUR LAWS! BUILD OUR FENCE!
Quit putting these people out in front of the issues that you think are going to get you reelected, or in this case RECALLED in the hopes that no one will speak out against them for fears of being looked at as mean or nasty. In this case thank God we have someone like Bruce Jacobs who isn’t afraid of getting out there and saying it like it is. You wanna hear what he has to say about this?

Rep. James Fagan, a Taunton criminal defense attorney, recently argued on the House floor against Jessica’s Law, a measure that would set mandatory minimum sentences for child rapists.
“Let me tell you why it’s so wrong,” said Fagan (D-Taunton). “It’s so wrong because in these situations . . . that 6-year-old is going to sit in front of me, or somebody far worse than me and I’m going to rip them apart. I’m going to make sure that the rest of their life is ruined. That when they’re 8 years old they throw up; when they’re 12 years old, they won’t sleep. When they’re 19 years old they’ll have nightmares and they’ll never have a relationship with anybody. And that’s not because I’m a nice guy. That’s because when you’re in court, and you’re defending somebody’s liberty, and you’re facing a mandatory sentence of those draconian proportions, you have to do every single thing you can do on behalf of your client. That is your obligation as a trial lawyer.”

The law is named after Jessica Lunsford, a young Florida girl who was raped and murdered in February 2005 by John Couey, a previously convicted sex offender. Public outrage over this case spurred Florida officials to introduce this legislation. Among the key provisions of the law are a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison and lifetime electronic monitoring of adults convicted of lewd or lascivious acts against a victim less than 12 years old. In Florida, sexual battery or rape of a child less than twelve years old is a capital felony, punishable only by death or life imprisonment with no chance of parole.
In my opinion when sum fucking scumbag like John Couey does something like this they should surrender the prisoner to the family. If something like that happened to my son I would want that. Give him to me. I just need a weekend, some duck-tape and a pack of matches. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
Pelosi on Drilling, does anyone belive her crap?
Here is Pelosi talking on ABC about drilling and on her decision to turn the lights off on the Republicans last week. She states emphatically that she will not allow an up or down vote even though when they took the majority, House Democrats proclaimed that…
“bills should generally come to the floor under a procedure that allows open, full and fair debate consisting of a full amendment process that grants the Minority the right to offer its alternatives.”
Apparently not on drilling. Who believes anything that comes out of her mouth? My question is this. The Dems. want alternative energy and say that drilling won’t help now. But in reality how far away are we from being able to use the “alternative energy” that they keep touting? I bet longer than it will take for the oil we can drill this afternoon to help. This energy crisis should be a driving force in the free-trade world we live in. Where are the solar powered cars, solar powered air conditioning units, natural gas cars? No where because they aren’t viable or even non-fiction for that matter.

That’s why you get this tidbit via AoSHq. They won’t even drill at $10 a gallon. I’d drill your grandmother for half that.
Nancy Pelosi Doesn’t Get It… Still…
On the view today Nancy Pelosi needed to remind Hasselbeck that she’s talked about this with her before and her annoyance was being worn on her sleeve. After years of saying that the war was lost, that the surge couldn’t and wouldn’t work the Dems. are incapable of admitting they were wrong. I know this is a hard thing to do because I have a hard time doing it with my wife let alone the American people and the world. You’re wrong, just admit it. But then again they are the do nothing congress and why not be the doing nothing I was wrong about the surge too. I hate these bastards.

Especially charming is how Pelosi blames her 14 percent approval rating, or whatever hideous depth Congress might now have reached, wholly on her failure to stop the war — a mighty interesting interpretation considering not only is Iraq a distant second to the economy these days among voter priorities but those swing state voters both sides are battling over don’t seem to be in a particular hurry to leave. Ah well. Never let it be said that she lacks message discipline.

I heard this story on Rush yesterday but I had no idea what he was talking about. He never went into the story he just showed the picture below to the Ditto Cam and being in my car it was impossible to see. So when I got home and saw what he was talking about I thought it was just about the most hysterical picture/story combo I have ever seen. So I am going to do this. I am going to post the story and the link and then below the fold I am going to post their picture. You are not going to believe that the picture goes with the story but… who am I to judge…
Her father worked at General Motors for 45 years before retiring. Her mother taught driver’s education. Nunez and her six siblings grew up middle class.
Things have changed considerably for this Ohio family.
Nunez’s van broke down last fall. Now, her 19-year-old daughter has no reliable transportation out of their subsidized housing complex in Fostoria, 40 miles south of Toledo, to look for a job.
Nunez and most of her siblings and their spouses are unemployed and rely on government assistance and food stamps. Some have part-time jobs, but working is made more difficult with no car or public transportation…
Nunez, 40, has never worked and has no high school degree. She says a car accident 17 years ago left her depressed and disabled, incapable of getting a job. Instead, she and her daughter, Angelica Hernandez, survive on a $637 Social Security check and $102 in food stamps.
Hernandez received her high school diploma and has had several jobs in recent years. But now, because fewer restaurants and stores are hiring, she says she finds it hard to find a job. Even if she could, she says it’s particularly hard to imagine how she’ll keep it. She says she needs someone to give her a lift just to get to an interview. And with gas prices so high, she’s not sure she could afford to pay someone to drive her to work every day.
People tell Nunez her daughter could get more money in public assistance if she had a child.
“A lot of people have told me, ‘Why don’t your daughter have a kid?’”
They both reject that as a plan.
“I’m trying to get a job,” Hernandez says. “I just can’t get a job.” …
Most of their extended family lives in the same townhouse complex…
The only one with a car is Irma Hernandez, Nunez’s mother…
She’s now two car payments behind.
“I’m about to lose my car,” she says on her way to pick up one of her daughters to take her to Toledo. “So then what’s going to happen to us?”
So Nunez and her daughter are mostly stuck at home.
The rising cost of food means their money gets them about a third fewer bags of groceries — $100 used to buy about 12 bags of groceries, but now it’s more like seven or eight. So they cut back on expensive items like meat, and they don’t buy extras like ice cream anymore. Instead, they eat a lot of starches like potatoes and noodles.
Ok so here’s the real kicker. I know you are expecting to see 2 very gaunt and pale people but wait for it…
